Former President Barack Obama is prepared to reappear on the campaign train in an attempt to stem a series of Democratic electoral losses, reported the Huffington Post.
Barack Obama is anticipated to campaign for Virginia Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam, not a frequent choice among former presidents. It’s as if Democrats cannot function without Obama’s help.
Northam has tried to nationalize the election by taking a stance as an anti-Trump Democrat.
“I’ve been listening carefully to Donald Trump, and I think he’s a narcissistic maniac,” said the Governor in his campaign ads in the primary elections.
Ralph has already gained an eight-point lead in the polls over GOP rival Ed Gillespie in the election after the GOP candidate almost lost the primary election to Corey Stewart.
A poll from the Quinnipiac University reveals that 47 percent of the people backed Northam, and only 39 percent supported Gillespie.
At the moment, the state is run by Governor Terry McAuliffe, the former chairperson of the Democratic National Committee during President Bill Clinton’s tenure.
Personally, I see Obama’s reappearance into the spotlight just a prove that Democrats have become quite apathetic and downright lazy, allowing themselves to be completely dependent on only one person. Unfortunately, Obama’s time is long since passed and, even though adored by the masses, his the potency of his political influence has lost much of its former power.
