The liberal billionaire George Soros may be accountable for a recent move to enable fraudulent voting. According to Washington Free Beacon, Soros is behind yet another lawsuit against a state’s voter identification laws, the latest in a series of challenges that stem back to 2015.
According to the New Hampshire law, voters are required to have a driver’s license or another form of identification in order to vote in elections. This requirement also prevents undocumented citizens from voting, and makes sure that each voter is a legimate resident of the state.
The League of Woman Voters (and three individuals) have filed a lawsuit against New Hampshire, citing that these types of laws are a form of voter suppression. They are supported by the liberal political action committee Priorities USA. Last year, this committee received $9.5 million from Soros and stood by Hillary Clinton.
Marc Elias is a former campaign lawyer for Clinton and one of the board members od Priorities USA. He has served her during her race for the presidency. He was behind a number of similar lawsuits in Virginia, Ohio, Wisconsin, and North Carolina, which many of them were funded by George Soros.
“We hope to see these unfair laws, which often disproportionately affect the most vulnerable in our society, repealed,” said Soros in 2015.
Hacked documents released last year show a top priority for the liberal billionaire is to combat “voter suppression” and enlarge the electorate by 10 million voters, the Washington Free Beacon discovered within the trove of files.
Last year’s leaked documents are showing that top priority for Soros is to combat “voter suppression” and enlarge the electorate by 10 million voters.
“The Open Society Foundations supports efforts to encourage wider participation in U.S. elections, and opposes measures used to try to suppress voter participation,” said a spokesperson from Soros’ foundation.
